A week in my shoes

Monday 19th September;

This week I managed to gain the WORST cold ever... well I'm sure people have really bad cold but this was painful! This day was the first day at Shauns Job.. It's alot to get used to starting somewhere new, but I'm so proud how well he's done.

Tuesday 20th September;

I wish I had done something really productive but instead a laid in bed , nursing my cold. Watching youtube videos, catching up on SacconeJoly's (Yaaaaaaay another girl) and planning some ideas for saturdays Baby shower!

Wednesday 21st September;

I had work on this day.. y'know the grind, working hard making that dolla... dealing with personal worries... Also had shauns little sister round to stay and keeping me company. Made my famous spicy sausage pasta! 

Thursday 22nd September;

This was a fun filled day shopping.. didn't get out of bed until 11:30am. I'm what they call a lady of leisure.. I wish! Got some cute bits for my besties baby shower. wrapped up pressies and baked cakes!

Friday 23rd September;

Fridays my food shopping day- the day where I have to be an adult. So the day was spent doing the shop, cleaning and general errands. We had some late night visitors and 'accidentally' ordered a whopping Chinese  (what diet?!?) and had a few cheeky drinks!

Saturday 23rd September;

HAPPY BABY SHOWER DAY!!! The SO was working so I had my besties babyshower. It was so lovely to see the beautiful bridesmaids from her wedding (where has the time gone?!) We ate too much, laughed too much. Played some rude & disgusting games and had a blast.

Sunday 25th September;

I worked the usual 10am-4pm, then went to Shaun's parents for spag bowl and cheesecake and fell asleep on the sofa cuddled up watching dead pool.

This week made me appreciate all the time that I can get to spend with Shaun, even if we are just laying on the sofa. And also this week I've learnt you don't have to be unhappy and lonely. Admitting to yourself you think you need help and company is the first step of acceptance and getting better.

Number 8- Work those eyes

Here I'm gonna talk about my affair with makeup... I'm obsessed to the point where I dont think about how much an item is, it just miraculously ends up in my basket.

I somehow just end up in the shop and makeup jumps in my basket 'Stick it on the card' 

One of my most dearest possessions is the Mac Cool Neutral Pallette. 

Oh my word the velvet texture, the pigment, the oh la la and the va va vum. I use this pallette EVERYDAY.

I use cozy grey mixed with a dash of brun in the eyebrows after I make an outline with Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe. I love everything about this pallette and its a must have. Now reduced to £49.50 I got mine when it was the £65.00. Go grab it ladies.

Number 7- Its okay to cry

Its okay to cry..
Its okay to sit down after a long day and just cry whether to yourself or with someone.

Since July my life feels like a roller coaster. Me and the SO moved out, yeah!!! We finally got a little house together, and whilst that's great it has tested us ALOT. We bicker but I do still love his dopey face.

Bills Bills and more bills, were more than capable of paying them but the setting up is soooooooooo confusing.
I swear I've been on the phone to the energy company at least twice a week, amongst other phonecalls I've been trying to maintain and improve the garden and trying to work.

Lets be honest, my garden looks like a sh*tstorm. Its all dead, someone before us must have thought f*ck this lets strim it all. NO NO NO. no matter the amount of lavender I put down it looks awful!

Anyway on top of all this , guess who bloody dropped her phone down the toilet?! ME- there I was minding my business going to DO my business and my phone drops out of back pocket and plummets head first into the toilet, quickly followed my hand and my scream of devastation. It's alive.... just.

Work been difficult too! Bad news over and over again.

So its okay to cry, I feel much better about it...
Cry it away, order a Chinese have a glass of wine.
You deserve it.
